Every chapter has led me here. Some dreams arrive quickly. Others quietly wait for us until life finally makes room for them. Mine waited. I grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, born into a family of Realtors, raised on ambition, and deeply in love with the shoreline from the very beginning.

Life led me to places I never could have planned—dance studios, pageant stages, entrepreneurship, real estate, staging homes, raising children, and building things from scratch—and I loved every single chapter. But somewhere in the middle of all of it, I quietly tucked away one dream that had lived in my heart since I was young.

The dream of becoming an author. Years later, I finally opened that box again. And everything changed.

The shore has always been part of my story.

Just before midnight on a summer evening in 1998, our family landed in Ocean Pines, Maryland—a charming coastal community eight miles from Ocean City—and something in me just exhaled.

For twenty-one years, we called it home. Five pools, two marinas, boardwalk mornings, salt air, and a community that felt like it was built just for us. The shoreline became more than a backdrop. It became part of who I am—where I reflect, dream, pray, and begin again. It is where my best ideas are born.

These days, Jim and I have followed the sun a bit further south, trading the Chesapeake for Florida’s Gulf Coast, living near one of the country’s most stunning crystal-clear lagoons. The scenery has changed. The feeling hasn’t.

Water has always been my home.

The Chapters That Shaped Me

I’ve been a dance teacher, a Miss Delaware USA titleholder, an executive director of my dance production company, a home stager, a real estate agent, a marketing specialist, and a published children’s book author, and somewhere in between all of that, a wife, a mother, and a lifelong learner.

Looking back, I don’t see a scattered résumé. I see preparation.

Teaching taught me patience. Real estate taught me how deeply “home” matters. Entrepreneurship taught me resilience. And writing reminded me that some dreams don’t disappear—they simply wait for the right season.

What has always stayed constant, through every role and every chapter, is this: I show up. I work with great effort And I genuinely care about the people in front of me.

Why I Created This

This isn’t just a boutique or a website. It’s a place for women who still believe there is something beautiful ahead.

A place to rediscover creativity. To embrace a slower, more intentional pace. To find products and stories and ideas that feel like a deep breath—not a sales pitch.

Whether you live by the ocean, a quiet lake, or simply dream of someday hearing waves outside your window, I hope you find something here that feels like it was made just for you.

Because coastal living isn’t just a location. It’s a way of moving through the world—with peace, gratitude, beauty, and purpose.

A Little About My Family

My greatest blessing has always been my family. Jim and I have shared more than four decades together. Our two children graduated at the top of their classes and went on to build careers and lives that make us incredibly proud every day.

They’re one of the reasons I keep building — not just to create beautiful things, but to create something meaningful. A legacy that reminds future generations that it’s never too late to dream, create, and begin again.

Welcome Aboard

However you found your way here—through one of my books, the boutique, a journal, or simply a shared love of the coast—I’m so glad you’re here.

Pour yourself something! And remember: dreams don’t expire. They wait patiently for us to return to them.
